directlytothemonsterandhisshortyearsonplanetearth.ManyqualitiescomefromVictor
Frankenstein'screationinthebeginningportionofitslifebutthethreemain,andimportantones
wereInnocence,kindness,andhiswilltohelpothers.Allofthesequalitiesareveryevident
throughthemonster'sactionsduringthetwoyearsheisawayfromvictorupinthemountains.
Thechangeinthemonster'sperspectiveontheworldissignificantashegetsmoreexposedto
thehatredthatourworldentails.
EversinceVictorFrankensteinpulledtheswitchandfinallycreatedhisbeautifuldesign,
thecreaturewasforcedintoaworlduntowhichhehadnoideawhatitconsistedof.Andbecause
ofthis,hisinnocencewasoneofhisbiggestqualitiesthatcreatedhisappearenceofkindness.
WhenthemonsterwasfirstcreatedhehadnointentionsofhurtingVictorinanywayshapeor

andallVictortakesfromtheinteractionisanaccostingapproachbythemonster.Allthemonster

monsteristransformedintoanactualmonsterthroughexperiencebythetimeofWilliamsdeath.
Anothergreatqualitythatthemonsterhadshownwashisgiftofkindness.Thiswas
evidentinanumerousamountofactionsthatthemonsterhaddisplayedbutoneofthemstands
outinparticular.Duringthemonsterstwoyearroamthroughthemountains,hefoundacottage
shedinwhichhecouldtakeshelterin.Whilestayinginthisshedhefoundapeepholethatled
intothehomewhichwasconnectedtotheshed.Themonsterspentalargeamountoftime

qualitythatthemonsterhadshownbeforethetimeofWilliam'smurder.
Withallofthemonstershardshipsduringhisshortlifecameoneofthemoreconvincing
encounterswhichshowedtheheartofthemonsterbutalsoalmostentirelyendedhishopefor
humanskindnesstowardshim.Asthemonsterwaswalkingthroughthewoodshecameacrossa
littlegirlthatwasdrowninginanearbylake.Themonstersfirstinstinctwastorunoverandsave
thehelplessgirlandthatisexactlywhathedid.Afterpullingthegirloutofthewaterabypasser

Throughoutsomeone'slifeonearth,eventsandactionsthatdirectlyaffectthemshape
themovertimeandmakethemgrowintowhotheyareinthatpresentmoment.Inthefictional
novelFrankensteinbyMaryShelley,ThemonsterthatwascreatedbyVictorFrankensteinwas
innocentandselflessuntilthecruelactionsofhumanstormentedandcorruptedhisheartintoa
hateful,revengefueledmurderer.Asactionsshowed,themonsterhadqualitiessuchas
kindness,willingnesstohelp,andinnocencebeforethemurderofWilliamtookplace.Themain
factorofthethreebeinginnocenceiswhatreallykeptthemonsterunderthestereotypeofagood
person.Althoughthemonsterwasresponsibleforhisactions,therealcriminalinthestoryis
victorhimself.
