The Core Campus Project is a major new addition to Clemson University Campus Life.
This 260,000 square foot mixed-use facility includes student housing, retail and residential dining, and
a new home for the Calhoun Honors College. University Housing & Dining is proud to be in full partnership with our Honors College colleagues in expanding our long term, highly successful Living-Learning
Community from its current Holmes Hall space and expanding its scope to become Clemsons first
Residential College.
Honors students will live on-site in Suite-style rooms and will enjoy new public community spaces that
include central lounge space, study rooms, a library space, a Grand Hall and two classroom spaces.
In addition there will be a Faculty-in-Residence who will help plan and implement educational, recreational, social and cultural programs while serving as a role model, mentor, adviser, teacher, and leader in the residential community. New Administrative space in the facility will house all Honors office
staff, including providing a new home for the National Scholars and Major Fellows Programs.
