To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure and confidence that I write this letter of recommendation for Peyton Brown, University of Arizona student nurse. I am faculty in the 2nd semester obstetrics course at the College of Nursing and I was Peytons clinical instructor in the Spring semester of 2015. Prior to teaching, I worked 28 years for Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, AZ. I served four years as the clinical educator and one year as manager of the maternal-newborn unit at St. Josephs Hospital. Prior to my work in obstetrics, I worked for 20 years on the telemetry unit at St. Marys Hospital as a staff nurse and clinical lead. As Peytons instructor, I found her to be enthusiastic, quick to learn, and hardworking. She was consistently prepared and engaged in both the clinical and classroom setting. Peyton has a quiet confidence that I believe will put both patients and nurses at ease. She communicates well and genuinely cares for people. She is a joy to be around! I believe Peyton will do well in any area she is placed. I highly recommend Peyton to you as I believe she will be a great asset to any organization! If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at (520) 404-9748.
Sincerely,
Sharon C. Hitchcock, MSN, RNC-MN/MSRN
