Experience: I have taught Theology at the 12th grade level for two years. I also teach 10th grade English since August
of 2015. My teaching style is dynamic and incorporates technology regularly. I also actively participate in other
duties, serving as a football and working through the campus to become a lay minister.
Previous Work History
Carson City Library- Youth Services Manager- 11/2013- 10/2014
Duties: As the Youth Services Manager, my primary duty is managing the youth services department and all its
workers. I currently supervise 4 employees, oversee the budget, ordering of materials, creation of programs, and
performing outreach with the community. I also provide support at other library desks and programs as needed.

Great Basin College- Circulation Manager and Web Coordinator- 6/2012- 8/2013
Duties: As the Circulation Manager/ Web Coordinator, my primary duties were to supervise the Circulation
Department and maintain our librarys webpage. My Circulation Department duties included: training employees
and students on the use and procedures of the library circulation system, creating and maintaining statistical records,
assisting with library instruction in classrooms and one-on-one with students, provide customer service, prepare
reports as requested by the Library Director, and complete other duties as assigned. My Web Coordinator duties
were to create and maintain library web pages and to perform maintenance as needed for website integrity.

University of Nevada Reno- Library Instructor (LOA-Temporary One Year Position) - 8/2011- 6/2012
Duties: As a Library Instructor, my main role was to teach new students the fundamentals of academic research and
how to use the library. Other main duties included orientation for new students, and conducting tours for visiting
high school classes and other groups as needed. In addition, I was actively involved in the creation of online subject
guides using LibGuides, and created video tutorials using Camtasia. I also provided assistance on committees and
research projects for other employees of the library.

Washoe County Library - Library Assistant II - 10/2007- 3/2010
Duties: As a library assistant II, my main duty was to assist in the daily operations of the circulation desk of the
library. Other duties included, item circulation, material processing, shelving returned items, and satisfying the

general information needs of the public. I was also assigned to the childrens section of the branch and was
frequently responsible for the creation and execution of various programs and events for the younger clientele. On
occasion, I would be scheduled to work at the reference desk, where I would assist patrons in finding materials or
finding the answers to more specialized inquiries. I resigned in lieu of potential layoffs to seek other employment
opportunities.
