Warm up At the beginning of the lesson the
student teacher use of Question and Answer
strategy with a well projected voice to elicit
information from the students helped to get
every student actively involved. In addition
reviewing the classroom procedures at the
beginning of the lesson was very effective as this
kept the students on task. Not only that the
students seemed to enjoy working in groups. The

Areas in which further development is needed:

The use of a power point could have been more effective if
the teacher had asked the students to listen for particular
key points for example certain terms or vocabulary words.
During group work, after giving the groups the written
instructions on paper the teacher could have clarified
instructions verbally so that every group member
understands the steps to follow. Another aspect was that
the time given for group work was not enough. Two minutes
was not enough for them to draw the diagram. Next time
the teacher should work on being more relaxed and having a

General Comments: Aeasha is a very nice and hardworking young lady who is always eager to learn. She also
made sure that she knew every student by name and was willing to help them whenever possible. Grade 3A
students found it very easy to talk to her ask for assistance during English, Math and Science lessons and she
was always on time. Aeasha works thoroughly to get all the material and plans ready before she conducts her
lesson.
