ABSTRACT

More couples today, than ever before, are asking

the question, Should we live together? According to
survey, the answer for a surprising number of them is,
Yes, we should live together for a while before we get
married, to see if we are really compatible and then
there are those who actually believe that cohabiting is
a good choice because its the best way to assure that
they will have a good and lasting marriage. This choice
has replaced marriage as the first living together
experience for approximately two-thirds of couples
today. Throughout our surveys we had managed to
distribute roughly about 200 surveys form to be filled
by the participants and we do divide the
questionnaires to various participants accordingly. For
instance, races gender and age. Specifically, the
research indicates that the choice whether to live
together before marriage or not is totally depends on
each culture, each couple as well as race and religion.
Such decision is also influenced by personal experience
of youth today as most of them who have lived with a
romantic partner before would tend to agree that living
together before marriage is one of the best ways to
determine the suitability of a couple.
