Reflection Questions
What do you think should be reflected in displays? Should it be the
teachers work or students? Why?
I think its should be the both.
Students work because, it gives the students sense of ownership. This can reinforce
the lesson and keep the display current and interesting. A powerful way of showing children
that their work is valued.
Teachers work because,it helps to enliven the classroom with the subjects being studies.

Why is it important to include the childrens work on the display?

Encourage children to interact with their environment. I t gives the
students sense of ownership, and connect their work to the lesson.

Are displays important teaching tools? Why ?

as learning resources, support the learning, and to extend students learning.

List some things you think the teacher should take into account when
making displays?
1. Integrate between the students work and the teachers work.
2. Make the display related to the curriculum.
3. Choose clear and spectacular pictures and words.
4. Allow the students to involve in decorating the display.
5. Choose the suitable corner to present the display.

Write a paragraph discussing the following statement:

Effective classroom displays are the most powerful and
overlooked tools for teaching. (Clayton, 2001)

Having displays in the classroom is important, and have many advantages. Firstly, it
will facilitate students learning, which helps them to remember what they already

took in the curriculum. Allow the student to connect their prior and their new
knowledge. Adding to that, having displays will make the classroom more smoothly
and fluency to understand for the student. In result, it will make them motivated and
engaged to learn. Furthermore, it gives the students the chance to gain more
vocabulary words. Finally, integrate the students in making the display because,
thats show them how much is important to have display, and its give them the
sense of responsibility.

Topic / Theme for Display
Brief Description and photo (What does display show?)
The display is related to the Math subject. Its show subtraction two digits and regrouping. There are students
work ( subtraction answers), and the teachers work ( the decoration).

Rationale (Why do this display?)

In math subject, students need to do extra practice and work because, its more about solving, thinking, and

is a way to show students the beauty of extracting and solving a difficult question. With the various adorable
