HPV

HPV (Human Papiloma Virus) Member of the


papillomavirus family (non-enveloped DNA
viruses) that is capable of infecting humans.
Like all papillomaviruses HPVs establish
productive
infections
in
the
stratified
epithelium of the skin or mucous membranes.
Hundreds types of HPVs Some types can
cause warts (verrucae), while others can lead
to cancers
