destroying key cells of the immune system(Ritter).Wait till they make the actual thing, it will

Many say that the funding for AIDShasbeen abigissuein findingthetreatment.People

Devastating cuts to HIV program, researchers Chad Benoit andMariaSmithwrite,InJulythe
senate voted to cut $300 Million from the Global AIDS budget(Benoit and Smith). Benoitand
Smiths point shows that, many with AIDS have given up on treatments because there is
insufficient amounts of funds to even develop a treatment. On the other hand, manyresearchers
are still working on treatments. Obama has recently pledged 100 million dollars to help find a
cure in HIV. According to President Obamas speech he stated, On world AIDS daytwo, years
ago, i announced an additional $35 million for AIDS Drug assistance program, which helps
people pay for lifesaving medications(Anderson and Minshall). This provesthatalthoughthere
are many people who have lost hope in the treatment of AIDS there are still many people that
have a hope for treatment. There are many researchers and people like Obama, finding ways to
fund and help pay for aids treatments. Evidence shows that Obama created a first national
