Not all students who come to youth are there to learn about God
Its not always going to go the way you had planned
There is no CE credits for her profession
She has a B.S. in Kinesiology
She does have to attend conferences
o National conventions apparently happen regularly- theres live music
and what not
Youth directing can be considered a part time job, a volunteer job, or a full
time job
She is going to stay where she is
Most of her time is devoted to hanging out with the students and planning
lessons
Job security isnt really a concern for her because of the potential future of
youth ministry
The salary can depend on if you are working full time
She felt called to do what she does
You dont have to be perfect
o She has public speaking fears
Overcoming obstacles is part of working in a church
She doesnt know if she will be doing this in the future
She puts in a full-time amount of hours a week
