Instructional Activities: Literature: The students will come to the carpet and listen to a
story about a communityhelper.Iwillaskthestudentsprompting
questions about the book in order for them to gain further
understanding. After the reading, the students will gobacktothe
desk andcompletethecutandpasteactivity.Withpromptingand
support the students will identify characters, settings, and major
eventsinastoryinthisactivity.
