Teaching Experience
Algebra Teacher, Newark Valley High School, Newark Valley, NY
September 2014- present
I am a full time math teacher, who teaches Common Core Algebra, Algebra A, Algebra B and Foundations of Geometry to
students in grades 9-11. I attend CSE meetings, manifestation meetings, department and faculty meetings, and
communicate with parents and colleagues to foster student growth and development. I co-teach with two separate special
education teachers, and tutor one on one with an Algebra student four days a week after school.
Student Teacher, Binghamton City School District, Binghamton, NY
September - May 2014
As a Clinically Rich Intern for the full academic year, I work with my mentor teacher to co-plan and co-teach lessons as
well as design and instruct on my own in both a traditional and flipped classroom setting. I attend CSE, department,
faculty and staff training meetings, assist in data driven instruction, and communicate with parents and educational staff to
foster student growth and development.

Volleyball Coach, Newark Valley CSD, Newark Valley, NY
August 2013 - Present
Coach Junior Varsity and Modified volleyball teams. Supervise off season conditioning and skill building to better prepare
athletes for their season. Plan practices, clinics and team building activities to help players reach their full potential as team
members and individuals.
Nanny, Malinosky Family, Fort Lee, NJ
July - August 2013
Live in Nanny for two young girls aged ten and eleven. Responsible for total care during the day with occasional night and
weekend duties. Prepared daily tutoring lessons to advance skills in math, science and English Language Arts.
Cashier, New Employee Trainer, Hiring Manager, and Front End Supervisor
November 2008 - May 2013
Held a number of positions at three different Price Chopper locations. Assisted Store Manager in opening new Chenango
Bridge store by interviewing, hiring, and conducting new staff orientation and training for all departments. Supervised
Front End workers and navigated any problems that arose during shift.
