GRADUATE EXPERIENCE
Hall Director
August 2015-Present
Oversee upper class student campus apartments housing a total of 410 students across 8 different buildings on campus.
Supervise a student staff of 12 Resident Assistants including bi weekly 1:1 meetings and weekly staff meetings.
Adjudicate level 1 conduct cases including the facilitation of hearings, assigning sanctions, and follow up.
Advise and support the Campus Wide Programming Sub Committee with the implementation of campus events.
Participate in a bi-weekly on-call rotation responding to crisis situations such as suicide ideation, emergency transports,
and altercations within the residence halls.
Assist in the implementation of Resident Assistant training held annually during August and January by training
students on residence life policies and procedures and giving presentations.
Oversee 12 Resident Assistant programming budgets as well as the Campus Wide Programming budget.
Serve on the Orientation committee and assist with the implementation and planning of spring transfer and summer
orientations.
Assist in the day to day operations of the Housing and Residence Life Office.
Graduate Intern
Assisted with a two week training of 24 student staff members. Staff members were trained on residence life polices,
protocol, guest relations, and emergency situations.
Assisted the Assistant Director of Housing with contacting and confirming arrangements with conference coordinators
of specified conferences.
Supervised the summer conference student staff consisting of 24 students.
Served on the on-call rotation and responded to emergency situations such as floods and other extreme weather
conditions.
Oversaw and managed the student staff and student manager weekly schedules. Created the weekly on-call schedule
for management staff.
Produced billing and room reports for each summer conference group that was housed in the residence halls.
Oversaw 3 areas of Campus Housing units which housed summer conference guest ranging 100-1000 guests.
Conducted research on the judicial hearing process for the educational curriculum. Researched the judicial processes
that other colleges and universities follow in revising the current model at the University at Buffalo.
Shadowed Campus Living Judicial Coordinator on high level conduct hearings. Acquired the knowledge and steps
associated with a due process, legal ramifications, and FERPA laws.
Worked on an educational component to the judicial affairs curriculum within campus living. Created a draft
outline for campus living staff professionals to use in aligning outcomes with the hearing process.

Responsible for the communication of undergraduate catalog deadlines and guidelines between academic
departments and administrative staff.
Approved catalog updates to development and live catalog website using an in house created database.
Work with staff to review departmental submissions to the catalog to ensure compliance with university and state
policy.
Conduct research for the office to better communicate, serve, and maintain overall student success.
Process student academic withdrawals and audit degrees to see if students are eligible for conferral.
Assisted 22 first-time freshmen in the transition between high school and college environment.
Provided support in serves as a link to resources on campus
Facilitated classroom instruction in conjunction with a professor and graduate student.
Oversaw a committee that was responsible for looking into what the entire Cal State Fullerton campus student body
wanted to have changed.
Made sure student voices were represented on campus by planning campus wide programs, going to the state capital
and meeting with legislators, and meeting with university administrators.
Worked with the Dean of Students, Board of Directors, Chief Administrative Officer, and students to revise ASI
Bylaws and Policies for the organization.
