7. What is the most frustrating part of your job?
Most of the time dealing with patients that are in pain, making them hard to work with at times and also can cause
them to get upset and blame you for any pain they think is abnormal, when in reality they do not exactly know the
procedure that was done was best for them. Also results in the dentist not being their favorite person.
8. On what procedure do you make the most profit?
The most profitable is root canals by far due to the cheap overhead and low amount of time it takes. Also, a
patient that needs a root canal will be very thankful to you for getting them out of pain so it is kind of rewarding.
Another high profit procedure is a typical cleaning because of the time for it and the simple cleaning that is done
is very simple.
9. What is the hardest year or section of school for someone in your profession?
Second year in dental school by far. A lot of school work along with seeing some patients while also preparing for
the national board, which is the biggest test for an aspiring doctor and if not passed within the first 3 trys, one
must restart the whole process of dentistry school.
10. If you did it all over again, would you do anything different?
He would become an endodontist because they specialize in root canals which is the most profitable procedure
and also one of the easier less time consuming procedures. Also, being a specialist of root canals also means that
you can charge more per procedure. The only down side is 3 more years of schooling.
