1.

We will get up from this

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who
loved us.
2. God is present with us through this:
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of
God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. Death has lost its victory:
1 Corinthians 15:55-57
55

Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?[a]

56

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to
God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
4. God will be with you no matter what:
Deuteronomy 31:6
6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for

the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5. If your loved one was a believer, you can be sure you will see them
again:
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a
loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of
God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

6. Share what heaven is like

Rev. 21:3-4 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look!
Gods dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with
them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be
their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more
death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed
away.
