I originally began this research through my interest in the New York Stock Exchange.

I,
along with many other people, observed what happened to the stock market on the days leading
up to the Scottish vote for independence. There was clearly hesitation amongst many of the
investors and many seemed to be abandoning a ship which was not sinking. When coming across
the British Exit vote, I immediately thought back to the Scottish vote. I was both worried and
pleased at the same time. I was worried for what may happen within the stock market close to the
time of the vote; but, I was pleased because I discovered this well in advance which allowed me
to analyze the possible good and bad outcomes. Through this research, I have been able to
expand my knowledge far beyond just what could possibly happen to the United States economy
for a brief period, and realize the implications this vote can have on all of Europe. I hope that this
curation has been as enjoyable for my readers as it was for me.
