I am applying for the Case Manager position that you recently posted for possible

long career in the Human Services field and I can continue my growth within your

I am currently a student at Cuyahoga Community College where I will be
obtaining an Associates of Arts in Human Services, May 20, 2016. At the current time, I
hold a certification of Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant. The opportunity to
intern with Moore Counseling and Mediation Services has been invaluable. I have
learned therapeutic approaches to assist clients through the continuum of care. I have
learned skills that include motivational interviewing which has been intricate part of
applying the Twelve Core Functions to assist the client to become acclimated back to
society. My experience includes substance abuse assessments, domestic violence and
anger manager groups along with facilitating Intensive Outpatient Group. I have also
been able to use Motivational Interviewing techniques that Ive learned in school and my
practicum with clients on an individual and group setting.
