THE HISTORY OF RESIRENAN SCULPTURE

Long-long time ago, there was a fight to get land
between

Kaliobar

and

lamdesar.

Because

of

the

contraction so that it affected many victims both of

them. Due to the contraction, so that a grandma who
knew a RESIRENAN want to bargain away herself to cut
in half to peace both of them.
Before herself cut of in half, she asked to both of chief
of tradition so that there was no fighting both of them.
Both of them agree with expecting to bury herself in
two village. The right body in Kaliobar and the left body
in Lamdesar.
Because of RESIRENAN immolation, so, both of them
made a peace until now. The brotherhood in Tanimbar
knew as PELA.
To appreciate her immolation, both of two village create
a sculpture as know as RESIRENAN SCULPTURE.
