    Iseeartthroughalenseofagreatersenseoftheworld,andthroughtheinnerpiecesofmy
    world.

    IwasbornandraisedinSacramento,CA.IcurrentlygotoCaliforniaStateUniversity,
    Sacramento,studyingArtEducation.IjustgraduatedfromAmericanRiverCollegeinDecember
    2015,andhavemyAssociatesofArtdegreeinartstudio.
    Ihavealwayshadthepassiontocreateart.Mygreatestinfluence,increatingmyart
    andbuildingonmycreativity,wasandstillismygrandmother,eventhough,shehaspassed
    awayinDecemberof2015.ShestillholdspresenceinmyheartandIwillstillcontinueto
    rememberthethingsshehastaughtme.MyhusbandMichaelhasbeensosupportivetowards
    myartandeducation.Overtime,therehasbeenafewteachersandfriendsthathaveinspired
    metocontinueinmypassionforart.TherearemanyartistIhavestudiedindepthandhas
    influencesomeofmyartlikeMaryCassatt,RijnRembrandt,VincentvanGogh,ClaudeMonet,
    Michelangelo,M.CEscher,etc.
    Asanartist,IworkhardandpreciseoneachpieceIproduce.Therearemanymediathat
    Iexperimentwith,yetImainlyfocusoncreatingartinastudioform.Lately,Ihavebeen
    experimentingwithmixedmediawhichhasinspiredmetoexpandoutfromrealismto
    abstraction.Ihavebeenextremelyexperimentalwithtextureandpatternsthatrepresentan
    abstractrealisticapproachinwhicheachofmyformsareorganicandnaturalistic.EachpieceI
    havecreatedhasaninnerpieceofme.Currently,manyofmypiecesrepresentmyfeelingsand
    emotionsthatIamgoingthroughatthetime,andreflectsonmyownexperiences.Mypieces
    showstheroughness,edgeness,brokenness,andspiraledutterchaosthathasaffectedme.My
    workrepresentshowIliveandtheformationofchaosfromothers,andthechaosthatis
    effectedthroughtheprocessthatisportrayedinanegativeorpositivevibe.IfeellikeIam
    battlingthisoutterevilthatisaffectingmeinside,andIamtryingtobuildasenseofpeaceto
    myworldandtheworldsurroundingme.Myworkalsorepresentstherebirth,growth,and
    empowermentthatisbeginningtooccurinmylife.
