The Different Ways Diabetes is Cured In Dogs?
Topic Research Paper

Diabetes affects dogs all around the world. But the most important thing is that we find a cure
for this awful disease. Scientist are working hard to come up with new method to treat this
disease. I personal think that there are many cure for diabetes but doctors have not released
them yet.

Today diabetes affects about 1 in every 160 dogs, carbohydrates are responsible for the
greatest change in postprandial. Blood sugar levels is a strong association between insulin
dosage requirements and carbohydrates. Limiting carbohydrates may reduce postprandial
hyperglycemia but if the dog continues to have wide glucose levels swings throughout the day
on a low-carb diet, the most important factor is that your dog likes it food and eats willingly every
time, Most diabetic dogs can eat a typical moderate- fiber maintenance diet, they dont need a
high fiber prescription food it is fine to feed a high protein diet but that is not a requirement. The
diet must be consistent, particularly in the amount of carbohydrates and should be feed the
same quantities at same time each day.

Exercise for those with type 1 diabetes can be both a blessing and a complication, exercise can
reduce insulin resistance in obese dogs, but to much exercise can lead to hypoglycemia. One
good approach is to exercise the dogs for 20 to 30 minutes before dinner and before insulin is
given. Additional exercise can be added to the day activities. If the insulin dose is adjusted that

means that if you have exercised your dog a lot throughout the day then you can lower the
amount of insulin you give your dog then you would normally.

Some supplements may help your diabetic dog while others should be added with caution or not
at all. Anything that helps lower blood glucose levels may change insulin needs. Carnitine it
helps control diabetes, improve fat metabolism, maintain lean body mass and protect muscles
from catabolism during weight loss as little as 50 mg of dry food may make a beneficial
difference. Zinc is an important mineral for diabetic dogs but its toxic if too much is given.
Supplementation should be limited to a standard canine vitamin-mineral supplements daily.

In Conclusion, I think that it is important that doctors continue to work on new ways to find a
cure to this nasty disease and these are just some of the ways doctors have found medicine to
help control diabetes but now I hope they find the medicine to cure the disease.
