Description of Item
Check all cable entries are correct to design requirements.

Verify name plate details against data sheet.

Visually inspect equipment for external damage (including paintwork).

Inspect the switch board/MCC for alignment and secure foundation fixing.

Confirm equipment is correctly located as per switchboard layout drawings and

is level.
Check earthing conforms to design requirements.

Check inside of switchboard/MCC is clean and dry, check that all desiccants
[silica gel] have been removed.
Check all cubicle doors can be fully opened without obstruction.

Visually inspect the switchboard cubicles for internal damage.

Ensure major components conform to vendor's and design documentation and

drawings.
Check all equipment carries the correct circuit identification.

Check busbar phase identifications are correct and phasing is maintained.

Check all enclosure connections are correct and tight.

Verify equipment IP rating is suitable for location.

Check gaskets and seals are not damaged.

Check all bolts are correct and none are missing.

On completion of all cable glanding confirm spare entires are correctly plugged.

Manufacturer recommended tests have been performed and documented; see

attached records.
