In my formal education, I have come to understand how multifaceted a students life can
be, at school, and at home. Because each student brings an individually complex
beginning with them, we as educators need to be prepared to assist students to be
successful by aiming to understand, and to be caring and compassionate as to the
students backgrounds and current stages in life. It is my goal to strive to teach
organization, discipline, and maintain routines, to then allow for their fostered love of
learning to grow and blossom. I hope to spark a passion for all things, great and small, to
encourage their building a successful future.

Although I am originally a beach loving San Diegan, I currently enjoy living in Paul,
Idaho with my husband and four young children. I love spending time with my family
(and extended family), traveling to new places (especially internationally!), cooking,
eating new exotic foods, distance running, and my most recent new found passion is
vegetable gardening! I am excited to work with children, as I hope to help the primary
grades build a strong foundation for their academic life ahead.
