dedicated to improving early childhood education through research, practice, and training, Denver, CO 2007 to Present
Develop and deliver teacher development programs for the Denver Preschool Program (DPP), Head Start, and
ECE centers in the Denver-Metro area. Report to the Senior Director, Professional Development Services.
Observe, assess, and coach teachers, providers, and directors in achievement of mission, vision, and goals.
Deliver 40+ hours per month of focused ECE teacher development coaching at 20+ sites per year.
Lead center staff through continuous improvement processes (information gathering, assessments, goal
setting, action plans, modeling, demonstration, reflection, review, post-implementation measurement).
Design, develop, and facilitate training programs for 20-75 attendees per class. Leverage adult learning
principles in delivery of training topics: Authentic Assessment Making Connections with Children,

Classroom, Effective Teaching Practices for 21st Century Learning; Language Key to Reasoning and

using Moodle Rooms LMS and Captivate.
Innovate and deliver numerous tools used by all Clayton Coaches: Training Guides and Training Script for
10+ trainings, Workbooks, and Summative Evaluation Forms for training sessions.
Achieved certification in coaching and support for the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS).
Consistently rated highly by clients and specifically requested for repeat coaching engagements; maintain
a score of 9 from a 10-point scale for training sessions.
