Integration into Lesson:

Crossword Generator

The crossword generator is integrated into


lesson 1 as a review to the previous lesson. It
is a good way for students to recall what they
have learned in the previous lesson and
collaborate with other students to create a
crossword.

Word cloud has been integrated as a main


activity in lesson 1. Students use the word
cloud tool to analyse a video. Depending on
what point of view they are given, they will
brainstorm how the video made them feel
using a word cloud to portray their ideas to
the class. Each groups word cloud will be
used to assist them with their presentation
to the class.

Slidely is integrated into lesson 1 to conclude


the lesson on the main aspects of the topic.
Various images and text will be shown with
appropriate music to keep students attentive
to the presentation.

Mentimeter is integration into the 2nd lesson


as a review of the previous lesson. Through
this digital tool the teacher asks a question
and students will respond with four words
per group. These words will be used to create
a class word cloud. Final product will be
printed for the students to place in their
workbook.

Zaption

The Zaption tool is used in our lesson plan on
geomorphic hazards in lesson 2. Zaption is
used to ask students questions about the
video they are analysing. Students respond to
questions while the video is paused and are
able to view the class answers at the end.
Students can also ask questions as the video
goes along that the teacher can choose to
view and answer.

CFA Active Bushfire Simulation

The bushfire simulation game is used in


lesson 2 to allow students to learn
interactively about bushfires and how to be
fire safe. It allows students to work
individually or as a group through an
interactive story relating to the real life
world. It is an instructional and informative

game.

Padlet is used as a conclusion to lesson 2 by
testing the students on their prior knowledge
before the next lesson. Teacher will ask
specific questions on the content of the next
lesson and ask students to free write and
brainstorm their ideas on the Padlet.


Verso will be used as a review of the previous
lesson content. Teacher will create a
questionnaire where students can view the
questions on the screen and reply via their
own device. Students answers will then
show on the screen where every answer is
viewed, creating a brainstorm.

Following on from using the Britannica


Student search engine, in the same lesson
students will transfer the information they
have gathered and present it in a poster.
Students can then use the poster they have
designed to describe what they learned
about their term to the other groups.


At the beginning of lesson 4 students will use
the Answer Garden digital tool to brainstorm
ideas on the word urbanisation as a review
from the previous lesson. Answer Garden
shows all students answers to form a word
cloud. Students can then print this out and
glue into their workbooks.

urbanisation growth around the world.

the different countries and their
urbanisation. This tool is also integrated into
