Checklist for running unit 1&6 in island mod

Before putting the Unit 1&6 in island mode.
Check that Transformer-1,2,3,5&6,ICT1 &ST1/ST4 are connected to 220KV Bus #1.
Check that Sectionalizer#1 ,220 KV bay 12 is closed.
Check that Drives load(variable load) of Platemill is not on Transformer#3.

After putting the Unit 1&6 in island mode.

Check that Generation of Islanding units(1&6) is balanced with the connecting loads on 220KV Bus#1
Check that ICt#1 MVAR import/export is not more than 10 MVAR.
Do's and Don'ts
Do Not Couple the Bus 1&Bus 2(trafo 3 & trafo 4) in south switchgear.
Do not Close the buscoupler (Bay 8 or Bay 25).
Do Not open the Sectionalizer#1 ,220 KV bay 12.

After Island from grid

Inform the various utilities that now system is islanded and caution them not to switch ON/OFF any lo
Do Not Couple the Bus 1&Bus 2(trafo 3 & trafo 4) in south switchgear.
Do not Close the buscoupler (Bay 8 or Bay 25).
Do Not open the Sectionalizer#1 ,220 KV bay 12.
Do Not switch ON/OFF any feeder.
