Objective:
By the end of our lesson,
APPLICATIOLN ACTIVITY
(Practice): Cause and effect
foldable
Students will work in pairs (ELs will be paired with native
speaking students)
Students be give an 8 by 11 white construction paper. The
paper will be pre-folded by the teacher, with dotted lines
where students should cut.
There will be three tabs in which students can write their
own cause and effect examples with regard to weather and
meteorology.
After writing their examples, students can draw pictures to go
along with their sentences.
ELL students will be given a worksheet with the terms and
examples listed as a tool for scaffolding.
Once all students are complete with their cause and effect
foldable, they will go around the classroom and share/review
them with other classmates.
