CableBusisdesignedtocarrylargeamountsofelectricalpowerforusewithinpowergenerationand
industrialplantsforserviceentrances,mainfeeders,distributionapplications,andretrofitsforexisting
powersystems.EachAdvancedCableBussystemiscustomdesignedandmanufacturedtomeetyour
specificjobrequirements.
UniformconductorspacingismaintainedbyourcustommanufacturedCableSupportBlocks,which
are
themselvesheldinplacebytheUFormShortCircuitBracesweldedintoeachenclosuresection.The
combinationoftheCableSupportBlocksandtheShortCircuitBracesallowsoursystemstowithstand
shortcircuitforcesofupto100kARMSsymmetrical,keepingpersonnelandequipmentsafeifafault
occurs.
AdvancedCableBusmanufacturesenclosurecoversthatare50%ventilated.Theventilationand
conductorspacingallowoursystemstooperateatfreeairrating.Eachcablecanconductmorepower
withoutacorrespondingriseintemperature.Accordingly,CableBussystemsemployfewercablesthan
cablesintrayorcablesinconduit,whichimpactsprojectcostssignificantly.
