Evaluation criteria

1. Depth: It should become clear from your text that you have
fully grasped the meaning of the visietekst, so you should
address important issues such as:
o the aims of language teaching,
o the role of grammar and vocabulary in language learning,
o the importance of differentiation, strategies, etcetera.
2. Structure: Your text should be coherent. This means that:
o your introduction should state clearly what the rest of your
text will be about;
o each paragraph should deal with one topic only;
o the paragraphs should be clearly linked to each other with
linking words;
o your conclusion should sum up what you have said, but
should not repeat that literally.
3. Language: accuracy, range of vocabulary, variety in
sentence structure.
A major lack in proficiency in any of the criteria (e.g. language)
may result in an overall failing mark for the assignment, even if the
remaining criteria are met.
