Mass
Find two objects at home (that you can hold in each hand) and predict which one you think will have the greater
mass. Write a sentence in your book.
Eg. I think __________________ will have a greater mass.
Hold the two objects, one in each hand. Test and see which one has the greater mass. Write a sentence to
describe it.
Eg. ______________ has a greater mass than the _________________.
Find another object at home that is lighter than the first object. Test it by holding the objects and write a
sentence to describe it.

Time
1. Write the days of the week in order.
2. Write the months of the year in order and draw a picture next to each month to show something that would
happen in each month or showing the season it would be. Eg. Think about when it is summer, autumn, winter
spring. When is it your birthday? Or a family members birthday?
Time
Draw your own clock. Pick a time of the day to represent on your clock. Write the digital time underneath your
clock and draw a picture of something you would be doing at that time. Write a sentence to describe your picture.
Eg.
11:00 am
At school at 11 oclock I eat recess.
Challenge: What is the hour after the time on your clock? Draw another clock showing this time, write the digital
time underneath it and draw a picture of something you would be doing at that time.
