ManywonderifClimateChangeisrealandifitishappeninginourworld.Thereason
manypeopleareconfusedisbecausetheydonotknowwhatisoccurringnationallyorglobally
peopletendtoonlyknowwhatishappeningaroundthem.Inotherwords,ifsomeonedoesnot
seeclimatechangeaffectinghisorherworld,theymaynotbelieveitisarealissue.
Nevertheless,researchgivesenoughinformationthatprovesthatclimatechangeisarealthreat.
Forone,changesinweatherpatternshaveresultedinextremeheatorcold,oreven
inconsistenciesintheweatherSignificantwarmerthanaveragetemperatureswererecorded
overthemajorityofobservedlandareas,especiallywesternNorthAmerica,largeareasofSouth
America,AfricaandsouthernandeasternEurasia.(2015).Inothercases,therisingsealevels
foretellarechangesmanycoastsaroundtheworld,oftenleadingtodangerousfloodingandother
issues.Besidescreatinghigherrisksofflooding,sealevelriseiscreatinganunexpecteddanger:
saltwaterintrusionintoaquifersusedtoextractfreshwater.(2015).Eventhoughchangesinthe
climatearehavingbigimpactinourenvironmentandeveneconomytoday,noteveryoneagrees
thatitisreal:thesepeoplehaveadifferentpointofviewonclimatechangethatputstheworldat
risk.Thereisnosignificantmanmadeglobalwarmingatthistime,therehasbeennoneinthe
pastandthereisnoreasontofearanyinthefuture.(2015).
Theconvincingpositionisthatclimatechangeishappeningallaroundtheworldbecause
onecanseethattheClimateChangeisaffectingpartsoftheworld.Forexample,Chinahadits
warmestJanuarytoOctoberperiodonrecord.RussiaalsohaditswarmestJanuaryOctoberon
record,withaveragetemperaturessome2.10Cabovethelongtermaverage.(2015).Theway

weatherchangeinmanyplacescanbegintocauseotherdilemmasregardingthetemperature
changing.Also,placesthatnormallydonotgetaspecifictemperaturecanbebadforthem
becausetheyrenotusedtotheweather.Sincepeoplearenotfamiliarwiththisweathertheycan
notbenefitfromitbecauseitsaffectingthem.
Inaddition,inanarticlebyKatieValentine,ittalksaboutthesealevelrisethatis
happeninginFloridastate.Also,thattheyareworryingaboutitandthattheyshouldnotbe
bannedorbeprohibitedfromtalkingaboutit.(2015).AccordingtoLauraParker,Floridawill
receiveallkindsofdifferentclimatechangesintheupcomingdecades.(2015).Risingsealevels
willaffectmanypeopleinfloridabecauseoftheywaytheyregettingtheirwaterfrom.Almost
90percentofsouthFloridasdrinkingwaterissuppliedbyporouslimestoneaquifers.Assea
levelsrise,thesaltwaterexertsmorepressureonthefreshwaterintheaquifer,andfreshwateris
pushedofffurtherfromthecoast.
However,noteveryonebelievesthatClimateChangeisactuallyhappeningbecausethey
believethatitisanaturalthing:forexample,DonaldTrump,believesthatisnothappening
becausehecallsitweather,hebelievesthatitistheweatherthatchanges.(2015).According
toExpressarticle,JohnColeman,believesthatclimatechangeisnothappeningbecauseofwhat
hehasseen.(2015).DonaldTrumpsaysthatallthethingsthatareoccurringinour
environmentarenotaffectingtheclimatechange.Forexample,thepolariceisincreasing,not
meltingaway.(2015).Somemightagreewiththisactionbecausetherearesomesignsofthis
happening.Forinstance,thetemperaturethathaschangedovertheyearsregardingwhatpeople
havetosayaboutit.Itisnotthathotorcoldanymore,wegetlesstimeofatemperature,as
beforeitwascompletelydifferent.

Humanbeingsknowwhatcausesclimatechangeandtheystilltendtonotbelievethatis
real.Ifwepayattentionandseehowtheclimatechangehaschangedovertheyears,thenumbers
willgiveusalotofinformationofhowtheworldisgettingaffected.Thereismanyfactorsthat
causeclimatechangeandthereismanythingsthatcanhappenastheclimatechanges.People
havetooverthinkandbecarefulwithwhattheyredoingwiththeworldbecauseclimatechange
canmovefromagoodpositiontoahorribleposition.
