ACTION SEQUENCE WITH

STRUCTURE
BY C H A R L I E H O A D L E Y

MARKERS WITH STRUCTURE

For my action Sequence I have included a range of sections such as intro,
a1, b, a2, c, a3, D and A4, this is called a rondo structure which includes
going back to the the a section but each time adding some think new to
each part. A1, 2 and are in a similar form but are different to each other
and helps makes a build up for it to lead to A3 to where there is a
explosion. In part a3 thick texture is used because it includes a range of
instruments which make a scene for it to end on a cliff hanger. Intro and
A4 are also because I had used repetition to make a similar style however
I had taken away some parts of the intro to make the A4 be different in a
way which made the cliff hanger.

SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

The similarities of intro, a1 and a4 are that

they all include the same instruments to
which is almost like a continues melody
repeating, also has there own way of the
parts but having instruments added and
instruments taken away for example a4 the
clarinet was taken out to make the last part
not a build up more like a fading out.
Though out all the a parts they also all
include pop strings but some have been
change from the original melody from the
start taking parts out from that melody and
including them into parts what helps build

Differences in my
parts is including
different
instruments such as
Timpani and nature
sounds to make
part a3 different
from the rest
making this part the
action part to where
in my story this is
where the action
happens.

BLENDING PARTS
When
blending
each a range
of sections I
had overlap
the
instruments
to continue
on to the
following
part and
changing the
sound levels
to make it
into a
blended part
to part.

For
example I
had used
this in A1
to b with
having pop
strings
follow on
for 1 more
bar to
blend the
two parts
to make
the
sequence
flow
instead of
having

Another
example when
using it for A3
to D when
having the A3
carry on its
pattern to
slowly reduce
the sound from
part A3 to
blend into part
D, this helped
create a scene
what makes
the scene end
on a cliff
hanger.

In Rondo the A theme will always be heard first. The Rondo is a form
that was very popular in the classical period (1750-1820)
