Theme restaurants are restaurants in which the
concept of the restaurant takes priority over
everything else, influencing the architecture, food,
music, and overall 'feel' of the restaurant. The food
usually takes a backseat to the presentation of the
theme, and these restaurants attract customers solely
on the premise of the theme itself.

The Cafe is located in a defunct tannery, at tangra,

kolkata. The proposed plan is to reuse the Defunct
tannery as a Chinese Theme Cafe and partly as a
museum.

The Chinese theme in the proposed cafe is

achieved by use of Chinese elements such as ; the
Chinese lanterns, Chinese windows, use of Chinese
geometric pattern panels in the facade, Chinese
columns, Chinese Mosaic Floor Tiles, and also by
the use of colour red.
