Monthly Benevolent Grant, Sum Assured, Marriage Grant, Burial
Grant, Farewell Grant, Lump-sum Grant, Educational Stipends.
More than Rs. 13,875 million distributed up to 30th June, 2011.
More than 580,000 Federal Government Employees are being
covered.

Monthly Benevolent Grant

Dies during service; or retires from service on medical grounds; or
dies during retirement before attaining the age of seventy years.
The grant is paid for life to Spouse or other eligible family members
as defined.
For fifteen years or up-to the age of seventy years of the employee
which ever is earlier to.

Sum Assured
Group Insurance Fund
Lump sum payment of sum assured is paid to the family of an
employee, if he dies during service. The rates of sum assured ranges
from Rs.350,000 to Rs. 1,000,000 w.e.f (with effect from) 1.12.2013

Marriage Grant
Marriage grant of Rs. 50,000 is paid on marriage of one child,
irrespective of gender of serving, retired or deceased. (Current rate &
conditions of admissibility applicable on marriage after w.e.f.,
20.04.2011)

Burial Charges
An amount of Rs. 10,000 is paid to the families of employees who
dies during service or after retirement. (Current rate is applicable on
death after 21.04.2011)

Farewell Grant
Farewell Grant equal to one months basic pay on retirement
after twenty years service.

Lump-sum Grant
A Lump sum grant is paid to the employees on invalid retirement
w.e.f. 01.01.2006, Presently from 1.12.2013 the rates of Lump sum
grant ranges from Rs.150,000 to Rs. 390,000.

Educational Stipend
Paid for post matric studies excluding Phd. For term and condition
rates for Academic year 2013-14.

Five main servers in total.
Application Server host Applications.
Database Server maintain Database.
Data Entry Server handle data of the clients.
Web Server handle the websites and web data.
Printer Server facilitate the printing service across the HQ.
DB server is separate from Apps server to prevent DB from
hackers.
Manual load distribution between the servers due to low specs.

and 4.0 net framework.
Has specific proxies to access the DB, except them DB cannot be
accessed.
Servers only work in office timings.
Servers only accessible by the employees not by the clients.

Every employee has its own login keys and GUI w.r.t their roles.
Clients can register their requests via e-forms or via post.
