Description
InthetraditionaljointwaterstopstructureofCFRD,acentralbulbwaterstopis
buried in joint concrete to serve as the middle dense line. Due to the poor
compactnessoftheconcretesurroundingthewaterstopandthedeficiencyof
deformationabilityofthecentralbulb,thiskindofwaterstophasbeenproven
tobeimpropertoperformitsroleofwaterstopinjoint.
InGBwaterstopstructure,thecorrugatedrubberwaterstopisfixedbybolton
thejointconcretesurfacetosubstitutethecentralbulbwaterstop.Thesizeof
thecorrugatedpartisspeciallydesignedtoabsorbthejointdeformation.
Uses
In China, corrugated waterstop has been widely used in CFRD joint,

especiallythosehigherthan100meters.Recently,itisalsoacceptedbythe
designerofBakunCFRDofMalaysia.
Corrugated rubber waterstop is normally fixed by bolts on the top of
perimetricjointofCFRD,underneaththeGBfiller.
