them.Iwroteitnotreallyexpectingthemtoallowmeto,buttomydismay,theysaidwecouldgetacat.I
rememberresearchingtypesofcatswithmybrotherandsisterandthenchoosingaBirman.Thenextthingwe
didwaspickaname,andmysistercameupwithit,Sugar.Thedaywepickedhimup,wekepthiminour

wentinlastandhestartedpurringwhenIwasholdinghim.Thefirstnightwekepthimlockedinmyroom,andI
