Prime Benefits
of a Member
We, members can help each other in the group
by unifying ourselves. If we are big in
membership we can have a large voice in local
and foreign funders that may help our group in
attaining linkages to big players of chocolate
industry, somehow we can command better
bean buying price and can purchase lower price
of planting materials, machineries and all other
form of supplies needed in the Cacao
production. Government, cacao enthusiasts and
other funders may help our members financially

Our Role
in Protecting Environment and
Humans

Our country belongs to the exact location where

Cacao Farming is ideal. Ten degrees below and above
the equator, the Philippines is considered an ideal site
for the production of high-grade Cacao. The demand for
planting for this precious crops heavily increases with
the stoppage of child- labor in the plantations of Africa.
Ghana and Ivory Coast who tag as the largest producer
of Cacao beans (60%) in the world is now deeply
affected by the Ebola virus from the neighbouring
Liberia. The shortage looms large ahead of us and we
must take this opportunity to act now.
However, certain things are to be considered in

The Blessings

As

far as success of Cacao

Production
in
the
Philippines
is
concerned, we have good proof of this
in the fields of Davao Region. However,
focused production in only one area in
the country is not enough. We need to
expand to other areas and share the
abundant blessing with more farmers all
over the country.
