To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Mr. Jason Mitchell who is both a teacher and
coach at Copper Canyon High School. | have had the opportunity to evaluate and observe Mr. Mitchell in
these rolls for the past academic year.
Mr. Mitchell would be a benefit to any organization looking for someone with passion, dedication, and
selflessness. Mr. Mitchell is an amazing educator who places his student's interests well beyond his own
in and outside of the classroom. Inside the classroom his dedication and passion are contagious as his
students work towards a common academic goal. Through this process, Mr. Mitchell is able to connect
to the real lives of his students through personal connections that | have seen few teachers able to
make. Itis evident that Mr. Mitchel’s students work for him and not just the content. Through the
literacy curriculum Jason is effective in connecting students to life-long learning strategies and goals,
allowing many of his students to see benefits throughout their cross curricular studies. Mr. Mitchell is a
reflective teacher that is always looking for ways to improve and grow for the sole purpose of his
student's academic achievement.
Outside of the classroom Mr. Mitchell has had an impact on the culture of Copper Canyon through his
dedication to activities beyond the classroom. From scratch, Jason has built one of the largest and most
competitive stunt and tumble teams in the state of Arizona. His athletes model the importance of honor,
passion, dedication, and academics. All of which are expected and modeled by their coach and teacher.
Mr. Mitchell spends countless hours with his students to allow them to improve their craft. There is no
day where Mr. Mitchell will say it is “too early” or “too late” when it comes to catering to the needs of
his student-athletes. There is no better group or club on campus that truly represents what is means to
achieve and aspire.
‘Any organization would be lucky to have Mr. Jason Mitchell. | would recommend Mr. Mitchell for any
position in which he applies. If there are any questions please contact me at 602-410-6219.
Sincerely,
kes
