SC Math
Analysis of Data
What student data did you use to evaluate the effectiveness of your 2012-2013 Action
Plan? What did you observe in the data? (growth, trends, differences among
subgroupls, variation in performance among standards, etc.)
To evaluate effectiveness, we used scores from MAP assessments and assessments
from our curriculum as well as teacher made/directed assessments and
observations. We continue to see improvements in our student population as a
whole as well as in most subgroups. Economically disadvantaged males continues to
be one subgroup that falls behind the rest of our population. We will continue to
focus on this subgroup to improve their scores.
2016 (Current Year) Action Plan
Define the specific measurable objectives for math.
90% of students whom take the CRT test will be proficient or higher.
90% of Economically disadvantaged students whom take the CRT test will be
proficient or higher.
90% of students Limited English Proficient whom take the CRT test will be proficient
or higher.

2016 (Current Year) Action Plan

How is the school addressing the fundamental teaching and learning needs of the
students in the school, especially the academic problems of low-achieving students,
using scientifically-based research strategies?
We are addressing the needs of our students through the use of our Title I staff, as
well as all other teachers and aide positions using both a "flood in" and "pull out"
program in both reading and math. Teachers and Title I staff work together to
identify the needs of individuals and small groups, then build interventions that
address these needs. Staff goes into the classroom to assist these individuals and
small groups and also brings them out of the room for more directed
teaching/reteaching of identified areas.

Describe the school's strategies for assessing student progress toward meeting all
content standards.
We will use DIBELS assessments, MAP assessments, curriculum assessments, teacher
created assessments that accompany our alignment project, and teacher
observations to assess and monitor our students' progress toward meeting all
content standards.
2016 (Current Year) Action Plan
Describe the school's integration of Indian Education for All into all areas of the
curriculum.
Every teacher in our school is integrating Indian Education for All into all subject
areas throughout the year. Teachers are using local resources (museums and
community members) as well as informational files, texts, and novel collections in
our school and classroom libraries. Teachers have also constructed units of study for
their specific grade levels using these resources.
