First ever advert (1941) about bulova watches, it aired for 10 seconds on
American TV and was a still shot of what you see above with narration.
The first colour TV advert made in (1969). This would attract the audience
because the advertiser could use a range of different colours and lighting
techniques to attract the audience.
This advert from the 1970s shows blatant sexism, this would not be a
norm nowadays as women have many more rights than they did in the
70s, many more women are going into high paying jobs. The women in
this advert is seen as a maid, a server and basically your everyday
housewife. People nowadays would say this advert is very outdated.
This Andrex advert which has used CGI effects to create a fake dog, the
use of cgi was a big step in the world of television because surreal things
can now happen within adverts and TV, this was a big step in adverts
because before this adverts could have been a bit boring to some people.
