Introduction:
Through significant time researchers have been given the task of discovering
different strategies for better understanding and application of the information
that is acquired day by day either in schools or situations of daily life.
Fortunately these investigations have yielded results, which have been of great
importance and value for students interested in improving the use of
information captured. First of all, it seeks to clarify the concept of intelligence,
and it's not what everyone thinks, not only a mathematical genius is smart; so
the concept will be developed extensively later. On the other hand we will talk
of Multiple Intelligences, an extensive topic that gives us the capacity to know
the different types of intelligences and with which we identify most, besides
knowing which intelligence serves us more time to study or learn, and thus,
work on the intelligence with which we identify and reinforce the other hand
we present a little weaker.
What is intelligence?
Do you want to know each type of intelligence and know that you
identify yourself better?
Types of Intelligences:
According to Howard Gardner
there are seven types of
intelligences are: linguistic,
musical, logical-mathematical,
spatial, bodily-kinesthetic and
two types of personal
intelligence: intrapersonal and
interpersonal. But years later,
psychologist Daniel Goleman
added two more intelligence,
emotional and ecological.
(Murillo, 2015).
Linguistic
intelligence:
"It is recognized by sensitivity
to the use of words, their
subtle meanings, sounds,
rhythms and inflections."
(Murillo, 2015, p.115). This type
of intelligence mainly
dominate the writers, poets,
politicians, journalists, bilingual
people, storyteller, among
others.
Musical
Intelligence:
Murillo (2015) mentions that "is the
ability to create and play complex
structures created with sequences
of sounds." (P.115). This means that
undoubtedly dominate this
intelligence who are the musicians
who have skill in singing or
interpretation of a musical
instrument. If you consider a person
with this kind of intelligence can
improve practicing with the
instrument like and taking classes
for better performance.
Logical-mathematical intelligence:
Space Intelligence:
THIS INTELLIGENCE REFERS TO THE ABILITY TO
GRAPHICALLY REPRESENT IDEAS, FOR THE SAME
REASON THE PILOTS, PHOTOGRAPHERS,
DESIGNERS, SAILORS, ARCHITECTS, AMONG
OTHERS. "ANOTHER TYPE OF SPATIAL PROBLEM
SOLVING APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY OF AN
OBJECT FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE AND IN THE
CHESS GAME." (WALTERS, S.F). TO IMPROVE THIS
INTELLIGENCE CAN DO EXERCISES LIKE
OBSERVING AN OBJECT PLACED IN A DIFFERENT
POSITION, OR SIMPLY TRYING TO SETTLE THROUGH
DETECTION OF THE CARDINAL POINTS WHEN
GOING FOR A WALK.
Musical Intelligence:
Logical-mathematical
intelligence:
If a person identified with this
kind of intelligence can
improve making games with
questions of logic or related
numbers in order to
streamline some operations
such as addition, subtraction,
division or multiplication is
believed games. In addition,
this intelligence can be used
in study hours, through
statistics or chemical
formulas.
Space Intelligence
To use this intelligence
in study hours is
recommended to
make concept maps or
diagrams.
For the
implementation of
these intelligences
in study hours can
be made
conversations
about a topic.
Conclusion:
Mannered conclusion, could be found that are not only seven intelligences
that can be used when capturing information, but there are nine intelligences
that can be used to make the most of the acquisition of knowledge and
ensure meaningful learning . It was also learned to identify each of the
intelligences to so know which intelligence develop better and also how we
can use this intelligence with themes of school, either to study for a test or to
present the subject in class.
On the other hand, they were disclosed how you can improve the intelligences
that develop differently all people and can encourage people to discover
possible hidden or develop potential they never knew they had capabilities. In
addition, the concept of intelligence breaking the myth that only people with
logical-mathematical intelligence are smart, now that you know you can
develop your intelligence invite you to put into practice the advice given
above for developing your potential depending cleared the intelligence that
you possess.
