Since April 2012, I have been producing short and long format current affairs stories for
international television and newspaper clients including Al Jazeera, the New York Times,
NBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the Associated Press, Bloomberg, Agence
France Presse and Frances Channel 2.

I specialize in working as a television correspondent and video journalist, and am able

to research, shoot, edit, script and package stories for a global audience. I am fluent in
Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu.

I have been based in New Delhi, India since 2007, but I travel across Asia for
assignments.

South Asia Video Journalist with AFP Television fromJanuary, 2007 to April 2012.
I was responsible for covering major news and current affairs events from South Asia,
including in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, the Maldives, India and Bhutan. I
also produced long format features for AFP TVs global clients and was on stand-by as a
fire fighter for major news in the wider Asian region.

I worked independently to produce untold stories, which I researched, filmed, edited,

scripted and voiced into ready-to-air packages. I found stories and characters that make
what is happening in Asia relevant to viewers around the world.

In the role of senior journalist I ensured that AFP TV covered all the major news in
South Asia. I was also assigned the task of managing all the production staff in the
region.
