Summary
I am currently a diploma student National Institute of Design, India. Besides my Architectural Design education
from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi; I did a Dissertation ( Architectural Research) addressing
the topic : Architecture in Virtual Environment, Augmented Reality; where I discovered my interest in
'Architecture that deals with Game Environments'. Moreover a prolonged exposure to Architecture + Computer
generated spaces, assisting in developing logical spaces helped me absorb Architecture in depth. That was
my idea to join NID, to take my interest in Architecture and Augmented Reality to the next level. I have
completed 4 semesters here, trying to learn, understand and experience- Game Design and System Design,
Structured and Unstructured Play, Child Psychology, Ergonomics, Character Design, Stop Motion Animation,
Design Concepts and Concerns, Interaction, Interface and User Experience. In semester 2, we had a design
brief in which the outcome was designing a Product/Service/Game for a type of end user. I chose my end user
to be visually impaired kids from 6-12 years of age. 6 weeks of this Design Project involve us to learn and do
- user studies - research - looking into already existing products and services and coming up with a design idea
and eventually making a final Product/Service/Game. Semester 3 had a design brief where we learn how to
make technical/market centric design. I chose to take forward my learning from my Dissertation, chose to work
on a game where I could help 'User/gamer to improve his multitasking skills + improve his decision making
to a designed scenario.' I am using Unity3D as a medium to explore game design. Ongoing semester is about
understanding System design. I chose to work for an NGO - Center for Social Justice, Ahmedabad; on the
subject - Awareness of Human Rights. System design/thinking - http://goo.gl/kLcAj3 http://goo.gl/W9zXVJ

Experience
Design Intern at Threye
May 2014 - October 2014 (6 months)
1. Design and development of third person architectural simulation for hotels, on Unity3D, platform desktop/
mac. Understanding the pipeline of Unity3D, learning Blender basics, and working out Sketchup to Unity
pipeline to streamline the process better, understanding code using (PlayMaker plugin); though I cannot code
all together a complete piece of interaction, but I understand the logic and was able to figure out easier ways
to accomplish tasks while sitting with coder. 2. Having understood the above mentioned pipeline, I tried to
make a multiplayer version of the single player mobile game already being developed in that studio http://
goo.gl/64wrO6 to make it as a diploma project. Which is just very basic beta right now.
Design Intern at Rajiv Agarwal Architects
