In-House Orientation
The In-house orientation will try to orient the student towards management learning and also
create a foundation of knowledge ensuring that all the students are at more or less the same
level of fundamental understanding with regards to management education.
There will be classes and activities on each of the major management functional streams by
in-house and visiting faculty.
The objective of the activities will be to engage with the students in a non-classroom format
to create interest in classroom learning to follow.
This period will also see some tests and business quizzes to keep the students on their toes
and prepare them for continuous evaluation mode subsequently.

Business Simulation
A major part of the in-house orientation is the Business Simulation which will happen
simultaneously with the outbound program.
Companies and Business Schools are increasingly turning to simulations to help build strategic
and execution capability when faced with one or more of the following business challenges:

Implementing a new strategy and key performance objectives

Accelerating innovation and strategy execution

Improving business acumen and financial decision-making

Transforming sales organizations into business-results accelerators.

Focusing leadership development on front-line execution.

Implementing culture change aligned to strategy

Integrating newly merged companies.

Modeling complex value-chains for collaborative cost elimination

Within minutes of being placed in a simulation, users are grappling with issues and decisions
that they must makenow. A year can be compressed into a day. And competition among
teams spurs engagement, invention and discovery.
The simulation recreates business situations and lets the users take decisions which would have
been taken by business leaders. Hence it helps the users learn by doing.
