Tour Itinerary:
JUNE 08- Thursday - Departing Glasgow we head out along the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch
Lomond with a short stop at the pretty little village of Luss. Onwards to the town of Inveraray and a
chance to visit Inveraray Castle, home to the Duke of Argyll. Onwards to Kilmartin Glen and the
footsteps of the first Scots at Dunadd Hill Fort. Our stop for the night is Oban, Gateway to the Isles. A
welcome dinner for the group will be in the hotel this evening.
June 09- Friday- After breakfast we cross the Connel Bridge and into Glen Coe. Learn the haunting
story in this magical stop. Our lunch stop (on your own) will be in Fort William with time to explore the
small town. Through the Great Glen comprising of Lochs Linnhe, Lochy and Oich ending with Loch
Ness. Time to visit Urquhart Castle perched over the loch and take a cruise for some monster
spotting. Inverness is our base for 3 nights.
June 10-Saturday- An early start today as we drive through Glen Moriston and Glen Shiel to Dornie
and the stunning Eilean Donan Castle. A late lunch (on your own) as we continue to Dunvegan
Castle. Our return trip retraces our steps to the mainland and then we return via Achnasheen with a
stop enroute for photos and time to stretch our legs.
June 11- Sunday - A late start today as we enjoy a relaxed trip to the beautiful Inverewe Gardens
passing the remote Loch Maree, with stories of its water horse. The gardens have a wide collection
of sub-tropical plants thanks to the warming waters of the Gulf Stream. On along the coast past
Gruinard Island and back to Inverness via Corrieshalloch Gorge are you brave enough to walk
across the suspension bridge?

another of our stops today where we can learn how the water of life is produced and of course,
taste the finished product. A group lunch will be included today. A little side trip as we turn to St
Andrews and a short stop here to see the famous Old Course and the Swilken Bridge. Then to
Scotlands capital Edinburgh.
