Bottom of the Ninth

Chapter 1

Connors mom drove him to his minor baseball tryouts for the double A team in Toronto,
Ontario. Good luck Connor, she said as they parked outside of the ball field. But Connor just
ran out to the field with excitement where he saw his friends Jayke and Khy.
Why are you guy always so early? said Connor.
Laughing, Khy said, Youre early too,
Whatever Lets go warm up, said Jayke.
When all of the other kids showed up, the tryouts started. The first tryout was pitching,
Khy was the first to throw three pitches. His first pitch was 56 MPH said the raider gun, Khy was
not happy. Second pitch was 59 MPH and the
last pitch khy threw 60 MPH.
Nice, said Connor.
Ive never throw 60 MPH before, said Khy.
Jayke was up next first pitch 57 MPH, second pitch 60 MPH and his last pitch was 61
MPH. That was the fastest pitch in LLWS history. Nobody has thrown 61 MPH in on a little
league team before.
OMG, said Connor.

You are going to be living in the hall of fame, said Khy.

No someone will beat that this year I know it, said Jayke.
Connor was up to pitch he threw the first one 55 MPH, second 57 MPH and the last one
59 MPH.
Nice, said Khy.
Thanks, said Connor.
Next was hitting. Khy was up first. Coach threw a knuckle ball. Khy swung and missed.
He looked kind of dumb swinging at a pitch like that. Next was a fastball right down the middle.
Khy swung with his Easton mako XL 1 and smack over the fence.
Ohmygod, said Jayke. Khy was so surprised, he forgot to run the bases. He just
stood there in shock. After the try outs, they went home and checked if they made the team.
Jayke, Connor and Khy all made the team. They had their first game the next day.

Chapter 2

After all of the kids showed up, their coach had a talk with them. Coach said, Okay boys
I am going to put you in positions that I think you are good at.
The team that they were playing was Pickering, Ontario. Connor was first base, Khy was
third base and Jayke was catcher.
Pickering was first to hit. Their first hitter didnt look that good. But the first pitch he hit
it to Khy who threw it to Connor. But the guy running stepped on Connors ankle and broke it on
purpose. Jayke ran over to the kid that stepped on Connor and punched him flat in the nose and
knocked him out cold.
Then both of the teams dugouts were cleared and both team were fighting. After the
umpires got everyone back in the dugouts, the game continued to be a normal game but Connor
was sent to the hospital. He broke all of the bones in his ankle. The doctor said he couldnt play
any more baseball this season. Connor was very upset. Connors team won all of the games.
They were sent to the little world series.
Connor went to watch the games. They won all of the games so they went to the finals
against Japan. Connor went to the doctor and asked if he could go play my team is in the finals
for the little world series,

Chapter 3

Can I play now? said Connor.

The doctor said, Ok, Connor. Just take it easy.
He was so happy, he jumped 5 feet in the air. When he got to the ball park, the game was
started already. He asked his coach to put him in.
He said, Ok youre up to bat. Two out, loaded bases, down by three, bottom of the
ninth, Connor walked up with his Easton S500 bat. First pitch.Crack. 300 foot walk of homerun.
Connor won the game for his team. Connors team jumped up and down at home plate
waiting for Connor to run all of the bases. When Connor touched home plate, Jayke and Khy
dumped a ten gallon Gatorade tub on Connor.
The whole team picked up Connor and chanted, Connor a hundred times. Right as
Jayke, Khy and Connor were walking out, Connor saw a turtle. Connor loves turtles. He went to
go pet it, and then Jayke and Khy saw ZOMBIES.
Noooo Connor, yelled Jayke.to be continued.
