Because it is difficult to reproduce the foreign
symbols [sembolz] and use them in written text, it is
nearly impossible to explain troublesome words without
typing the phonetic forms next to them. However, with
the new phonetic alphabet, fonikz, it is possible to
include the phonetic clues next to words. Study [stude]
all the phonetic words in the lessons to understand the
vowel sounds and their variations [variashonz]. You
will see how they are used in words [wordz] and how
their pronunciation [pronunseashon] changes in speech.
