Preface:
A sustainable business and mission requires effective planning and financial
management. Ratio analysis is a useful management tool that management
students must understand to analyze and measure financial results and trends over
time that provide key indicators of organizational performance. Managers use ratio
analysis to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses from which strategies and initiatives
can be formed. Funders may use ratio analysis to measure results against other
organizations or make judgments concerning management effectiveness and
mission impact. The proposed seminar series will equip students to perform both as
manager and investor creating ability in taking best financial decision and
formulating tactics and strategies favoring wealth maximization.
