Classifying countries

Although it is difficult to classify countries based

on all the characteristics explored so far, it is
possible to classify countries based on selected
statistics. This allows countries that experience
similar levels of development to be grouped
together for the purpose of guiding policies and
interventions that may improve the level of
development experienced.
