-Presently stepping by putting both feet on each
step 6 times a day.
-Presently James holds eye contact for 30 second,
does not approach peers spontaneously, and
communicates only with adults in class.

Goal A
Expected Date: June 24, 2009

Goal B
James will describe what hes feeling or
wants using simple words and picture
cards independently 6 to 10 times a day
in all class settings by the end of June.
James will cut straight along a dotted or
solid line with an 80% accuracy by the
end of January
James will walk up and down the stairs
by putting one foot at a time on each
step 4 to 5 times a day by the end of
June.
Goal C
James will initiate spontaneous interact
with his peers by approaching the
student(s), make eye contact for 2
minutes, and asking to play with
him/her or whether he can play with
him/her 3 to 5 time a week by the end of
June.

Instructional Strategies:
-Playing daily games in groups that require
students to name an object and describe its
function.
-Small group work that requires students to take
turns speaking, where students will wait for their
turn in the group and anticipate when it is their
turn.
-Centers where students will mold and roll dough
into balls or pick up objects using large tweezers to
work hand eye coordination and dexterity to
improve fine motor skills.
-Using finger puppets while responding to stories
and poems or in song to improve fine motor skills.
-Weekly activities of cutting along lines and
pasting for worksheets or art activities.
Accommodation:
Using a pictogram chart to supplement
communication of wants, needs, and feelings.
