Product features

Product features

All risk policy covering the structure and contents of home


from fire, burglary, breakdown etc. The policy covers the
agreed value of the building.

This policy covers consumer durable against damages post the


expiry of manufacturers warranty. Replacement cost of CD in
case repair is not possible is covered in this policy and also
repair cost is covered in case damage to product is due to poor
workmanship or material defects.

Policy has multiple plans like agreed value, reinstatement
value, etc.
Exclusions
Misrepresentation,Non-disclosureofmaterialfacts,
preexisting damages, loss caused due to architectural defects

Know your Insurance Policy


Group Credit Protect Insurance Plan
Product features
Choice of single life and joint life coverage.
Choice of level or reducing Sum Assured, level cover in case of
interest only loans.

Exclusions
In case of death due to suicide, within 12 months from
the date of inception of the cover, the nominee shall be
entitled to 80% of the single premium paid

It is a single premium policy that offers cover against loan


liability.

Some other exclusions: End stage lung diseases, heart valve


surgery, los of independent existence, loss of limbs/sight, major
burns/head trauma, paralysis/paraplegia, surgery of aorta

Option to add Accelerated Critical Illness Benefit and/or


Accidental Permanent Total Disability Benefit cover.

In case of Accidental Permanent Total Disability if opted, the benefit


under this Policy shall not be payable in the following cases:

Critical Illness: 19 critical illness covered.


Death Benefit: Sum Assured as specified in the certificate of
insurance will be paid for all valid claims, irrespective of the
loan outstanding, and cover will cease.
Maturity Benefit: No maturity benefit in this scheme
Surrender benefit will be allowed only when the loan has
been fully repaid .

In case of death of the insured member during the policy
term, the loan to the extent of insurance cover is settled and
the family is able to retain the asset.

Claims Procedure
1.Cashless Hospitalization Facility for Network
Hospitals:

The insured person should notify insurer in writing at
least 72 hours before a planned hospitalization. In an
emergency the insured person (or person on behalf of the
insured person) should notify insurer in writing within 48
hours of hospitalization.
2.Out-Of-Network Hospitals & All Other Claims for
Reimbursement:
a. In all hospitalizations which have not been per-authorized,
the insurer must be notified in writing within 48 hours of
the insured persons admission to the hospital or before the
insured persons discharge from the hospital, whichever is
earlier.
b. For any illness/accident/medical condition that requires
hospitalization, the insured person shall deliver to
insurer theclaimsdocuments,at his own expense, within
15 days of the insured persons discharge from hospital.
3. Death Claim:
In case the insured meets with accidental bodily injury, that
causes death within 12 months, 100% of his sum assured
would be payable under the policy. Documents required:

FIR and police panchanama
Post mortem report

Death certificate
Nominee KYC (Proof of address and identity)
Nominee bank details - Canceled cheque with claimant

4.Permanent Total Disability (PTD) & Permanent Partial
Disability (PPD):

In case the insured meets with accidental bodily injury
during the policy period that causes PTD/PPD within
12months, the percentage shown in the table (given in the
policy wording) applied to the sum insured would become
payable. Documents required:
Claim form
Disability certificate from the treating doctor
Medical examination report
Note: All claim documents to be submitted at the nearest
office.
Loan Account Number would be a must for all claim queries
